Frequently asked questions
- Is it safe to encrypt text online?
- Here the encryption happens in your browser, so the text and password are not sent anywhere. The security then depends on a strong password.
- What happens if I lose the password?
- The message cannot be recovered. There is no reset because the password is never stored.
- What can I do with the encrypted text?
- Paste it into any chat, email or note. The other person decrypts it with the same password on the Decrypt tab.
