About this generator

Morse code writes letters and numbers as short signals (dots) and long signals (dashes). This translator converts in both directions as you type, plays the result as sound at the speed you choose, can flash a light or vibrate your phone in rhythm, and lets you download the audio as a WAV file. It uses International Morse code with letters, numbers, common punctuation and a few accented letters, and the chart below lets you tap any character to hear it.
