About this generator
The Morse code chart below lists every letter, number and common punctuation mark with its pattern of dots and dashes. Tap a character to hear it and add it to the translator. A few memory tricks help: E is a single dot, T is a single dash, letters made of dots are the ones that sound short, and numbers follow a pattern where 1 is one dot and four dashes and each next number up to 5 swaps one dash for a dot.
