About this generator

A BRF file, short for Braille Ready Format, stores Braille as plain ASCII text, so it can be sent to an embosser or opened on many Braille readers and displays. Type your text, choose Grade 1 or Grade 2 and download the .brf file. The tool does not set line length or page breaks for you, so check the layout in your embosser software.
