Frequently asked questions
- Should I enter a name or an address?
- Use a business name with the city or a full address. The more specific you are, the better the match. For an exact pin, choose the Link / Text option and paste the share link from Google Maps.
- Does the code open the Maps app?
- On most phones the link opens in the Google Maps app if it is installed, and in the browser otherwise.
- Will the code stop working if the place moves?
- The code searches for the text you entered, so update and reprint it if your address changes.
